History of Steilacoom Lodge #2
At our last stated meeting, VWB Don Campbell read excerpts from Steilacoom Lodge #2 ByLaws that were hand written. It was quite informative to note in the past 100+ years, not much has changed in our work.

The Cemetery is scheduled for Cleanup on May 15th starting at 9:00 AM. Bring weed eaters if you have one. We have planned for lunch and refreshments to be served.
My Brothers and Friends,
Wow, we had a successful Cemetery work party! We were through and I was able to catch the 1610 ferry home. Last time, for example, it took me two days to finish.
I have the great pleasure of thanking the following laborers. Larry and Harriet Newsham (hint, ladies are not excluded from our exercise), Glenn Henderson who was chef extraordinaire, Charley and son Scott who brought an additional bush mower, Stan Cybulski who brought his riding lawn mower, Bud Owens, Don Brock, Bailey Green who expertly supervised, Don Campbell, WM Joe Fuller and wife Kathy, Ray Sumner who was scooped up out of the traffic and he spent the better part of the morning herding around the tractor, George Skinner - my road guard, Jim
Miller, Mike Smitson, Paul Koch, and Jesse Coppel. We also had the pleasure of shelter provided by Signe Baker Lamont, a Clover Park Grad and Son Steve. Worshipful Sir Joe, I think that the above list is reasonably complete so it is available to you to use as appropriate for showing appreciation.Worshipful Sir Mike, this, or portions of it may be included in your next issue of the Moonlighter, if you so choose.
Again Thanks to all who participated.

Kaffee Klatsch
Catch the 0900 ferry in Steilacoom, wander up the hill and be prepared for hot coffee and a fresh goodie. This happens on every Tuesday! Well, almost every Tuesday! I will send e-mail to most who come on Mondays!
I can promise you refreshments, you bring the friendship and fraternity and we all will have a fun morning. It seems that our discussions are getting increasingly interesting. Keep it up!!
Y'All Come, Y'A Hear!!!

THE WORKING TOOLS OF AN E-MASON
I now present to you the Working Tools of an e-Mason. They are the Mouse, the Keyboard, and the Modem. The Mouse is to move within the desktop, the Keyboard to input data, and the Modem to publish the data to cyberspace.
However, as we are not here assembled as computer nerds, but rather as Operative e-Masons, these tools are downloaded as vehicles of a moral significance, and to show us the true meaning of e-Masonry. Thus we apply these tools as follows:
The Mouse teaches us to keep within due bounds of the screen, a square where upon we must all meet.
The Keyboard shows us that communication will lead us to a better understanding not only of each other, but with all mankind.
The Modem reminds us that even when we are alone on the most remote part of the globe, we may meet and gain moral sustenance from each other, and thus learn more of the wonderful works of the G.A.O.T.U.

Steilacoom Lodge's History for the first 100 years was published in 1952. It is therefore a challenge to all Past Masters and our long time members to provide something to add to this book so that we may publish a 150 years of Masonry for Steilacoom Lodge #2. We need your history or your memories of the past 50 years to make it possible. Yes, we have the Minutes of the Meetings, but that is not the full story; the funny things that happen in Lodge or at a Special gathering; the antidotes that come and go; the untold story of how the Moon Plaque was made and presented; anything that makes up our history as a Lodge! Please send your stories, articles, and other memories to me, by e-mail to Mike.Smitson@Comcast.net. Or by regular mail to my home at: 9826 Coral Dr SW Lakewood, WA 98498. Or to the Worshipful Master, Joe Fuller. Or to WB Tom Kingsbury.
Lets publish a great 150 years of Masonry of Steilacoom Lodge #2, of the Most Worshipful Free and Accepted Masons of Washington! -- The Editor.
